WP Sequential Page Number

Managing content on a WordPress site can become increasingly complex as the number of pages grows. For many WordPress users, organizing pages with a clear, sequential numbering system can significantly improve navigation and content management. To solve this issue, I developed the WP Sequential Page Number plugin—a tool designed to bring simplicity and order to the page numbering process.
What is WP Sequential Page Number?
The WP Sequential Page Number plugin is a straightforward yet powerful solution for WordPress users who need an easy way to assign sequential numbers to their pages. This plugin ensures that every new page is automatically assigned a consecutive number, which is an ideal way to organize content or create a more structured, user-friendly environment for visitors.
How Does It Work?
WordPress by default assigns pages a unique ID number when they are created, but this ID is not sequential. As pages are created, deleted, or moved around, the numbering can become disjointed and confusing. With WP Sequential Page Number, this issue is resolved by introducing a new system that assigns pages a consecutive number in the order they are created.
Each time a new page is added, the plugin automatically ensures the page number follows in sequence, making content management much easier. The sequential page numbers can also be displayed on the front end, providing a clear navigation system for both site administrators and users.
